About Me
Toby is our six year old Springer Spaniel who loves nothing better than to swim and chase seagulls.
I live just outside Haverfordwest with my husband and two children, two dogs, five chickens, three guinea pigs, two ducks and various other small pets.
Asha is our three year old German Shepherd who loves nothing better than a cuddle or any sort of food!
Both dogs have been clicker trained from puppies and while Asha trained in agility and as a sniffer dog to help me pass my degree, they are both first and foremost, family dogs.
In a largely unregulated profession, I have worked very hard to gain qualifications and experience in order to provide my customers with assurances of quality and professionalism. I hold a Foundation Degree in Canine Behaviour and Training from the University of Hull. This particular qualification included a very strong element of practical dog training, teaching and counselling people and canine behavioural work as well as a high level of study in all things canine.
I am also a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, having been assessed according to their updated procedures and Code of Conduct (http://www.apdt.co.uk/). This gives my customers assurances of kind, professional, ethical and proven dog training methods.
I am also a Dog AID trainer (see separate page).
I have also completed the APDTs (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) Open College Accredited Course.
I carry full insurance for all aspects of my work including behavioural advice and agility training.
