Clerkenhill Adventure Farm is one of our favourite places to visit as a family, since it is a perfect outing for our children and our dogs. The welcome is lovely, the animals and play area fantastic for children and the facilities great, including refreshments, teas and light meals in the new cafe. The adventure walk has wildlife and scenery for adults and play equipment, a quiz and themed areas like 'Spooky Wood' for the children. Dogs are welcome as long as they are under control around the animals and other people. This means that if your dogs have good recall, are friendly with other dogs and people (but don't leap all over them) and you pick up after them of course, you may let them run free on the walk, while keeping them on lead in the play areas and around the livestock. Our experience also is that some children we meet on the walk are nervous of free running dogs so when that happens we always recall them and have them wait for those children to pass. If you are an animal loving family, you will love Clerkenhill. The family season ticket is fantastic value, and so is the daily ticket price. Check out the Frisbee Golf too - great fun!
